hi typical overthinker here!

first time mum, 15mo ds

He is walking now (still wobbly but can walk and stand independently) can crawl too

He’d climb our stairs now and then , now he just wants us to carry him up , and he’s climbed the couch once or twice

But something I’ve noticed is he doesn’t climb loads ? We got him a pickler and he isn’t interested
and he doesn’t like ‘dance’

he doesn’t seem to Bob to music that I’ve seen or Bob on his knees

do I need to try teach him( I do show him how to dance etc but do some kids just not seem to do things xx

Sounds completely normal. They go through different schema at different times.
You don’t need to show them how to do anything like that, if they need to do it, they’ll do it when they are ready.

Don’t worry, sounds normal. Some babies are climbers, some aren’t.

My friend’s DS is like a mountain goat, can climb into his high chair from the floor, climb out of the cot, stand on the back of the sofa, etc.

My DS (thank god) has never been a climber. 15 months is still very young, walking alone is very complex and tiring. My DS has just turned 2 and still tries to get me to carry him up the stairs sometimes.

Same with the lack of dancing. Don’t worry, they all do different things at different times.
I found my DS development was a bit of a slow burn and then suddenly from 20-24 months he developed so rapidly and was doing new things constantly.
