Long post... stick with me.
Son, 6. Dislikes loud noise in singing assembly (in hall) on a Friday. 6 months ago changed reading group into the hall. He said it echoed. He was progressing well in Foundation year and then stayed on the same reading book band for 12 months. He started refusing to go into class but would eventually go in and started lunch club to avoid noise and have calm time.
He has came home this week, he's changed book band which is in a new classroom, voluntarily didn't go lunch club. Happier little lad.
Clearly it was the hall and noise was an issue which I told his teacher numerous times. What should the school now be doing as clearly the hall was an issue. Is this a SEN issue or not?
