Hello.

anyone get help with childcare costs from government and if so, how does it work please? I’ve read you have to pay and then claim it back but how do you do this? I’m new to this. Ty x

Do you mean Universal Credit? That pays up to 80 % of your childcare costs from Ofsted registered childcare providers for those who are eligible.

Tax credits is another option where for every £8 you pay the government gives you £2.
