11 month old vomiting and tired

Hi,

My 11 month old ds has been vomiting since early Monday morning and is sleeping a lot too. He was falling asleep in the bath last night then properly fell asleep while I was drying him, he didn't wake till 5 when he had a bit of water, then woke up vomiting it back up at 7.30.

He's been to the Dr twice, ruled out a urine infection and he's not dehydrated, we were told it was gastroenteritis. He's never had it before but I'd assumed he would have diarrhoea too if he got that, but he's not.

The Dr said to go back of we're worried, which I am but no more than I was when it started, so I don't want to go back and bother them.

It's just really hard when he's not himself at all and he seems to keep perking up then getting worse again. I know if it is gastroenteritis they can't really do much but I'm worried in case it's something more serious.

Just asking for advice really on what I should do?

My daughter just had a vomiting bug, she was wiped out. She is 4 but was so poorly bless her. I have it now and it's bloody awful. If he's listless and not as responsive then id seek medical help urgently but otherwise, let him sleep it off and try and get sips in whenever possible. Brutal for these poor babies!

My ds has stopped vomiting now thankfully. I've had the bug too and just getting over it now, but he's still very upset most of the time and doing a lot of screaming, I feel like he must still have a sore tummy 😥he's sort of gone of me cuddling him since I've been ill so it's all up to my dh to comfort him. He's still also really tired a lot but not actually sleeping and napping as long. It seems to be taking forever for him to get over it.

Is this just normal for his age or should we get him checked at the drs again?
