Hi all,
I have 4 children my youngest is 10 months. My 2nd is 5yo and has cmpa which he is gaining some tolerance to since using the milk ladder but I imagine will never have a full normal diet.
10mo was put into neocate at 4mo following a period of time on aptamil pepti which helped slightly but was much better once on neocate. We've constantly had issues with vomiting and diarrhea at different times and she has a constant runny nose, coughs all the time and over the last week we have been changing her hourly due to poos which contain mucus and undigested food. Her bum is so sore even metanium isn't really working. Do you think these are signs she has another allergy or is she just getting multiple viral infections?!
With it being a 4 day weekend I've not been able to phone up to speak to GP which I plan to do this week, or would I be better phoning the dietician office who was supposed to be reviewing us in March but never heard from them since December.

Sounds like there is another allergy going on.

I would chase up the Dietician but I'd also phone the GP and ask fir a referral to the Allergy Clinic.

I don’t believe the formula she is on is completely free from dairy protein. Ask for advice on the CMPA facebook group.

Thank you, didn't even know cmpa group was a thing will have a look now. I knew there was more of a breakdown of the actual protein, will see what I can find out from further research. Hoping it's not a wheat allergy as she only really has fruit/veg/meat/pasta/weatabix and toast 😕
