Bubbliest bubble bath?

What's the bubbliest bubble bath you have found for your kids? I'm always disappointed! We've used child's farm and Johnsons - neither great.

Matey?

IglesiasPiggl · 08/04/2023 16:51

The best ones are the cheap supermarket brand ones that come in those massive bottles. I kid you not!

Greentomatoes21 · 08/04/2023 17:07

Thanks all! Look forward to trying them!

Lush bubble bars. Crazy amount of bubbles even from using less than 1/4 of one. The comforter one is a favourite in this house

FlounderingFruitcake · 08/04/2023 18:19

Lush bubble bars definitely. You don’t need much of them to get loads of bubbles on a per bath basis they aren’t really more expensive than Childs Farm.

Ponderingwindow · 08/04/2023 18:21

try adding a quarter cup of bicarb soda to the bath.

It will change the ph of the water and allow the bubbles to flourish. It is also good for the skin.

we have very hard water and it is hard to get bubbly bubble baths so I learned this trick

NotHangingAround · 08/04/2023 18:22

The bubbliest ones I've had are Faith in Nature. They create bubbles worthy of Joan Collins's baths in Dynasty.

This, plus Matey. Go mad swooshing it about, you can lose a kid in the resulting bubbles.

And another vote for Matey.

Agree that the £1 (ish) huge bottles are the bubbliest!

This is what I use! They aren't that cheap anymore tho!

I believe it's more about the technique tho. You have to woosh the water with your hands to bring out the bubbles.

Oysterbabe · 08/04/2023 21:09

You need to get the shower attachment down and use that to fill the bath, you can create bubbles 2ft high.

MamaCapybara · 08/04/2023 21:39

Always bought Johnson's until last time and it was out of stock so picked up a Tesco own brand one for £1. Much bubblier than Johnson's.
