Am suddenly feeling a bit and

(think I have PMT)

Am suddenly aware this is the last year we will be able to hang around, doing our own thing, visiting people and places whenever we like...

It'll be just me and dd2! (which is a lovely thought)

But I think I'll really miss this pre-school stage... and it'll be gone forever! Shit!

Advice on things to do to make this year really memorable, please

Just carry on doing whatever it is that you're enjoying doing now. It's those times together that make them really memorable.

And you know your child doesn't have to go to school in September

What I miss most now DD3 is at school is our walks in the park, picking up leaves and pointing out birds. I hate walking through the park by myself now. (And she is in Year One so you'd think I'd be used to it.)

You can look forward to the holidays and believe me there are lots of them!! And all the attention you can give to dd2 and you can shop for birthdays and xmas without giving anything away..that depends on how old or clued up your dd2 is!! You will be amazed at how much they learn in such short space of time..i was so proud of mine..as you will be of yours!! And then look forward to picking up dd1 and giving her big cuddle when she comes out!! It does take a little getting used to but it'll be fine!!

Thankyou

I think she'll be ok at school. It's me that needs to get used to the idea!

Am hoping for a sunny summer (as if) to enjoy.

Am sure in 3 days time I'll be feeling less emotional
