Baby swing - help

Could anyone recommend a baby swing? & did it help sooth baby crying at all? How did it help?

My DS had terrible awful colic and it was a life saver for him. dd not bothered by it. We had a standard basic one that swang and played songs

I had a baby swing and unfortunately my baby did not like it at all (he had colic)

I got a Joie Serina after recommdations and it does seem to calm her down. Although I wonder it depends on the reason for the colic, if its wind or reflux, I am not sure a swing will solve it? My daughter howerver tends to get overtired/over stimulated which can cause evening crying so the swing has helped that.
