DD is Kitkat, kitty, Duchess or lilyloo.
DS is Buba, Bubakins, monkeyboy or Iomiester.

In fact I rarely call them by their real names.

nooka · 15/02/2008 23:23

Wiggle and Limpet. Plus many variants of their names, and a few pet names too (sweetheart and that sort of thing)

ds asked me recently whether I'd still call him Wiggle when he grew up - he seemed rather anxious that I might stop (he's nine!)

skyatnight · 15/02/2008 23:35

dd was baby spice. She is now ooroo - the Chorlton and The Wheelies/Indian Restaurant Menu Spelling version of her real name, Minky-Moo-Ma, Small-Person-Of-Little-Bottom, Sozzer, Iggle *** (real name), Little Horror, Mookie and various other random utterances according to our whimsy.

mummoomin · 15/02/2008 23:47

Dd is (name)kins, or honeypie. Ds is (name)bear or monster.

maybe I should swap round the names see what happens!

purpleflower · 16/02/2008 00:02

DS has loads of nicknames

Stinky
Stinky bum
(first name)bum
monster
buba

and we wonder why he doesn't respond to his real name!

madmumNika · 16/02/2008 00:48

DS- has evolved from "bo-bo" to "bogbeast" to "pickle-boy" to "popsickle", all meant in the nicest way of course!

DD- too young yet... "mini bo-bo", "mucky puppy","little miss"

I swore I'd never use pet names or nick names, but you just can't help it!!

IndigoMoon · 16/02/2008 01:03

DS1 at the moment is usualy referred to affectionatly as Freak (he's going through gothic/emo grungey teen stage)
DS2 is called Monster (You should have seen as a baby 3 times the size of the others at post natal, so monster just stuck LOL)
DS3 has numerous names, Poppy, pops or Doo (from a song I made up when he was born)
