Teething rings

Sorry, i had no idea what subsection to put this under but i'm a FTM and i have a 18 week old baby who is teething.
I have bought Nuby icy keys and a regular old silicone ring teether. Both items say on the packaging "do not sterilise or put into boiled water" so how do I make this safe to give to my baby without sterilising? i'm thinking surely just wiping it down won't be enough to make it safe to put into my sons mouth??! i'm utterly confused right now.
Looking for any advice as i tried to look online and it came up a bunch of conflicting answers

In the kindest way, you’re overthinking this. You don’t need to sterilise everything that goes in the baby’s mouth. DS chewed his fingers at this age. I definitely wasn’t going to sterilise his hands. Breast feeding mums don’t sterilise their nipples.

Just wash them with hot soapy water and they’ll be fine. In a couple of months they’ll be crawling around and licking the floor.

@Betsyboo87
Very good points, feel a little bit silly now but I think I just needed to hear it from someone else to relax my mind a bit.
