Positive 3rd baby stories

I have 2 DC age 4 and soon to be 2. I found the first a massive change and I struggled badly for the first year as he never slept. My second was also stressful due to him being born in the middle of a house renovation!

I never thought I would have a 3rd but I can’t stop thinking about it. Everything you read online etc says a 3rd is the hardest number and it is putting me off! I work from home and we don’t need to worry financially. Has anyone found the 3rd slightly easier than the first 2? Or is it really horrendously harder?

Hi OP, my children were 4 and 21 months when our 3rd baby was born so similar ages to yours now. Little No.3 slotted in perfectly, out of the three of them she was easily the most chilled out baby and has so far just happily spent her life going with the flow.

They're 5, 3 and 18 months now and they're amazing, they're all each others best friends. She's one of the 'big kids' now and is always determined to do whatever her sisters are doing.

They do have their squabbles (especially the youngest two) and my god they can be noisy, but in my experience having three children is wonderful. Good luck whatever you decide to do! 🙂

@IsabelaYourBoyfriendsHere thank you for the reply! That’s so good to hear I’m sick of people saying I’d regret it! I am scared because my first 2 really were not good sleepers as babies but might be 3rd time lucky lol. I already have 2 boys and I also wouldn’t mind a 3rd boy! They do play good together now my youngest is running about and saying a lot more words. No doubt if I have a 3rd I’ll get the whole are you hoping for a girl comments because I got them with my second!

3rd was a breeze tbh … slept well as tired out from playing with the other two.
Honestly having the 3rd addition was near easier than just having 2 as they all kept each other company and entertained x
