Soft play partys in session

Has anyone done a soft play birthday party that’s in session and not exclusive hire of the venue ? My 3 year old - soon to be 4 doesn’t have loads of friends to invite so would be silly to hire the whole place, but are they known to be rubbish ? 🙈

I've never been to an exclusive hire soft play party. The places local to us are quite large, so party packages are access to soft play in a general session, followed by a party room. Other times it has just been a small gathering for a few friends going in the soft play and then having some food from the cafe.

I’ve been to a few. At this age they just wander and do their own thing really. It will be fine.

As a pp said, it's usually a party session where they give you a small area and you can get a room for food that you can have as part if the party package. The venue is still open to the public.

If your DC doesn't have many friends to invite then it sounds sensible. When we had DS's 4th birthday at a soft play we invited his whole pre school class of 35, which was too many for use of the party room after, so we decided to book for exclusive use. The soft play said they got a pretty even mix of exclusive/not, so it's evidently quite common.

I have Never been to a private hire, my children love soft play parties I think if you’ve not get many guests it’s much better to have it in normal session time, they usually have a separate party food room and disco room so just the actual equipment they share. Your DD will love it whatever, her friends will be there, she’ll get prezzies and all the attention!
