Doctor said my babies tone is very good

What does that mean!? I felt embarrassed to ask. Does that have to do with her muscles? Is it a good thing? We just had a 6 month appointment.

She is meeting all her milestones but my doctor is sometimes a bit intimidating so I didn’t want to sound stupid by asking.

Yes it's a good thing. Means they are neither floppy or hyper flexed /stiff which might either way indicate a neurological or developmental issue. So good tone is a reassuring indicator of health and normal development.

This. Most babies have 'normal' or 'good' tone, so are relaxed but not floppy. If they are floppy or stiff, that can be a sign something else is going on that needs further investigation. If there are no concerns, then you basically don't need to think about it any more!
