DD just asked the question

She is sat building bricks and suddenly said "Mum where do babies come from?"

I went a bit {blush} then composed myself and told her daddys put a seed in the mummys tummys and then a baby grows that led to

"Did daddy put water on the seed ?"

Feel quite proud I handled my first baby making question

Wait for the "How does it get out" question. It was here I failed with dd (aged 3) not really having any idea where to start - I showed her roughly where it would come out, not bad I though, honest and practical. dd can now be seen regularly checking whether a baby is on its way, which is a little off putting at the shop and then shouting that she does not have a baby stuck in her bottom
