Kids party food dilemma

I'm doing a party at a soft play for my 6 year old.
There's no kitchen or area to prepare food.
So instead of putting platters and buffet style in the middle of the table what do you think about doing up party picnic boxes for each child? Is this easier or not? 🥴 Any ideas on what to put in as standard id be grateful. Then I thought I may put a couple of bits down the middle as extra.

Good idea

Should reduce arguments over the crisps too

DD went to a party with boxes, they asked parents to select cheese ham or jam beforehand for the sandwich.

You can adjust for allergies/dietary requirements too

It is so much easier and more hygienic than a kids buffet which sends shivers down my spine with all the hands going in it 🤮

Do a sandwich (give them a choice of 3 fillings and pre prepare), crisps, chocolate bar, carrots or cucumber sticks, party rings and a drink.

We did Pom Bear crisps so no arguments about people having different flavours etc. ... and most kids like those.

We did this using paper bags. A couple of filled rolls, a carton of apple juice, a freddo, a piece of fruit and a home made biscuit. It did take a while to prepare it all, but made it very straightforward at the venue.

I did this during once & have been to others like that too - works well as long as you know about any allergies etc. plus the kids can take the food away with them so you don't have to be eating cheese sandwiches for the next week.
