Infant gaviscon dose question

I’m starting baby gaviscon on my 5 month old who weighs 18lbs 2oz and gets around 7/8oz 5 times a day.

box says no more than 6 sachets a day which is fine, we will add to 3 feeds.

dr said one sachet per feed but box says 2 sachets for infants over 10lb?!
and box also says to mix a sachet in to 4oz of feed - but he gets more than this.

so do I let him drink down to 4oz and then add one sachet? Or just add 2 sachets to the 7 or 8oz three times a day, which would be 6?

why do I find this so confusing and conflicting 😂

Just stick to what doctor has told u it's all trail and error with baby gaviscon and when it says 4oz it mean u have to mix it with at least 4oz of baby milk so mixing it with 7pm is fine
