Child minder with activities for 9 year old in London?

Hi All,

Looking for some advice please. We live outside of the UK and will be flying into London later in the year to see a show which isn't suitable for children (stand-up comedy). We will be travelling with our 9yr old son.

I initially started looking at child minders in the hotel we're staying at, but rather than keep him locked in the hotel I wondered if there was a service where I could pay someone to take him to the cinema, go sightseeing, take him to McDonalds etc etc. I've done a quick search and can't find such a service?

Any help appreciated.
Mark

Use childcare.co.uk and place an advert.

You want a baby sitter.

Make sure they have been DBS checked and use a site like childcare.co.uk

I should add depending on when you are in the UK you may be able to find a university/college student who is DBS checked due to the course they are doing, and will happy to take your son out/entertain him as long as you are paying.

It won't be cheap as the tickets to cinema/sight seeing/whatever will be on top of their fee.
