Baby hair and lint

Hi, would love to know if anyone is going through same thing as me and if you have any tips at all!
My son was born 4 months ago with a ton of hair and it just keeps growing, the last 2 months have been a pain with lint in his hair tangling it up, i've no idea where the lint is coming from but it's almost daily i that need to untangle the lint out of his hair, he hates when im untangling it but the longer it sits the more matted it gets and then it makes the process longer. Does anyone else have this problem?

It's from the sheet in his cot/Moses basket etc when he moves his head. As bonkers as it sounds, only lay him down on a silk (or satin!) pillow slip and it'll stop. Ditto any bouncer head rest etc too.

i shall try other sheets because the lint problem is getting out of hand
