My poor DD is really struggling with wind after feeding. Previously DD was also very constipated so I asked my HV if it could be the formula we use, so we have changed formula, this has made her bowel movements much better but she still really struggles with wind. Throughout feeds and afterwards she cries and screams and draws her legs up to her chest, she gets so agitated and upset, it’s horrible to watch. It can take 45 minutes sometimes to get her to burp after a feed.
I have tried Infacol and Colief but neither of them seem to have helped. I was going to try gripe water next, I had asked my HV if the doctor could prescribe anything but she wasn’t very helpful and just suggested changing formula again. We have tried massaging her tummy, all the winding positions under the sun… I’m at a loss for what to do!
