I can’t have the third child I want dude to medical issues and still struggling with this.

Anyone who has three children do you ever regret your choice to have another?
Can you tell me all the negatives about having three or more?

My third one turned out to be twins and whilst I love them dearly it was brutal when they were small. Taking turns to sleep, croup, reflux. I think I survived on 2 hours a night for a good year and a half. Had to give up my career. Got divorced due to stress and resentfulness.

It’s easier now they are older but I used to fantasise about being put in prison when the twins were small. Locked away 23 hours a day with nothing to do but sleep sounded like bliss.

Much as I love ds3 I have certainly found it overwhelming, expensive and find it complicates many activities

Negatives-

Need for a bigger car
Most family tickets are for 4 not 5
If all 3 need to be somewhere different for parties, sports, clubs, etc it is impossible without outside help
Children can be expensive and with 3 you are paying out more for food, clubs, equipment, residentials, utilities, presents, clothes, etc
Holidays can be complicated with many set up for families of 4
You have 3 sets of homework, hormones, social and emotional challenges, any school issues, etc
You have 3 sets of clubs, sports, sleep overs, etc to logistically organise

I am sure I could think of more

Thank you both, I need to remember these points when I get upset. I need to focus on the positive of two and negatives of three.
