How to explain to 3yo

DD started afternoons at nursery a few months ago and is struggling a bit. Today she said "I don't want to go to nursery, I want to be a part of the family" and burst into tears. DH works from home and I'm currently on mat leave with 8mo so she see' s us all stay at home and she has to go. What can I say to make it better?

Ohhhh bless her she's totally feeling left out. Nothing you say much will change it but actions will. Make sure you make a fuss of her when she gets home and show she is important as always to you and say how special she it going somewhere all for her etc. I know what it's like with your hands full with to young ones we have 4 of them but aslong as you make each one feel as important as the next one you will be good 🙂
