Can my hormones in breastmilk affect my child’s behaviour ?

I have an autistic dc aged 2.5 who is still breastfed.

Can my hormones if I have pmt affect my child’s behaviour? I get quite bad pmt and it coincides with more meltdowns so I wasn’t sure

Some (maybe all?) autistic people are hypersensitive to other people's emotions. It might be that he is picking on your emotions and reacting to them. My son is terrible whenever anyone is upset.

I wondered that as well but I was concerned perhaps it was something maybe passing into my milk 😞

No I don't think so. Hormones can sometimes affect milk supply but they would not go into milk in quantities that affect behaviour.
