Bimble Bumble question

Was looking at the Easypeasy nappy site and it's got one-size poppered Bimbles and one-size poppered Bumbles. What exactly is the difference between Bumbles and Bimbles?

bumbles are squared of around legs and the edges enclosed and bimbles arent so have like a frilled edge and are a toot slimmer due to this. Both are goood, however i do prefer bimbles on my ds as are slightly slimmer...

I thought Bimbles are the sized ones and Bumbles are the birth-to-potty ones. Other than that, Bimbles have the stitching (overlocking) on the outside and Bumbles have it on the inside.

Hmmmm, just looked at the website and I sure can't see any obvious difference, since Bimbles do come in birth to potty now. How odd!! It really does look like it's down to the stitching... a Bimble in an inside-out Bumble!!

I'd go with the Bumble... I found that nappies with stitching on the outside were more prone to leaving red marks on DD's legs.

But someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to tell you what the difference apart from the stitching is. Sorry to be so useless!!! When I bought my Bimbles/Bumbles years ago, Bimbles only came in size 1 for newborns, and Bumbles were birth to potty, but now both nappies come in all sizes so I'm confused!

As Nappyzone says but I think (not sure) Bumbles have a removeable booster and bimbles don't (or maybe that has changed now too ). Nevertheless, they are fab nappies IMO

Yup, the only difference is one is turned in, and one is not.

Arghhh...this thread is making me want to buy them (for comparison purposes of course)....will avoid this like the plague now or it'll be fluffy post and a grumpy DH for me

MrsBadger · 12/02/2008 23:18

the booster doesn't popper out of Bimbles, it's attached

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 23:19

Ooh why did I think it did?

MrsBadger · 12/02/2008 23:22

don't knpw
I thought the only reason the bumble booster was detachable was so you could take it off and fold the nappy inside itself to make it fit a newborn - I never bother detaching mine now.

Flamesparrow · 12/02/2008 23:25

Easy peasy site says btp bimble booster is detatchable, it might just be the sized ones that aren't (presumably because you don't need them to do the cool shrinky thing)

MrsBadger · 12/02/2008 23:28

ah possibly

I have sized bimbles and btp bumbles

Buckets · 13/02/2008 08:16

OK, but an attached Bimble booster still tucks into the pocket like a Bumble yes?

I guess you have to fully interrogate someone about their exact model if your're buying secondhand now there are so many variations.

Yup, still tucks in
