23 mo DC Has developed a compulsion to go around some things in a specific way.. we have a toy bike for example, and they were running their way back towards me past it on their right, almost got to me a shouted "No" and went back to run past again but with it on their left hand side. This isn't a one off... I've noticed them do this at nursery at pick up as they come via the nursery garden and they've done the same thing with other items, minus shouting "No!".
I think it's too early for number favouring but they know 1-10 pretty well but always miss out 3 and 7, but they are starting to remember 3 now...they're still learning so I'm not sure this is a sign yet.
I'm more intruiged by the above compulsion! Probably been going on for a couple of months?
Took them to a shopping centre with a toddler play area and one section with toddler stools and tables with paper snd colouring pens, crayons etc was empty and they litterally took all the stools they could to fit them all around 1 table then moved onto the other section.
They're verbal, affectionate, walked at 12 months but army crawled, never crawled properly...occasionally walks on toes not much, can respond to their name but not consistently. They laugh, play games, fill in words in a nursery rhymes so I'm not thinking ASD or should I be? I'd say they're advanced for their age rather than behind?!
