Baby turning sideways in cot!

My 6mo keeps turning sideways in the cot and getting wedged so that her head is pressed into the bars which upsets her and stops her from settling to sleep.

I go in and turn her back round the right way but sometimes this happens 5 or 6 times which is a bit frustrating because she is otherwise a wonderful little sleeper.

I had a bumper but I heard these are dangerous??!! Although not sure how they can possibly be 🤷‍♂️

Any tips welcome!!

DD does this all the time. She is 1 now and learned to turn herself back from that position about 9m I think. I'm not sure there is anything you can do except wait for her to learn I'm afraid.
Yes cot bumpers are definitely not recommended from a safety point of view.

Much safer to just keep going into the room and straightening her up, just one of those things and soon enough she will be able to move herself when she gets into B an uncomfortable position

The bumpers are dangerous because they can end up squashed against it and unable to move away.
