Help with parents

This may be on the wrong board but not sure where to put it! I’m a Year 5/6 teacher and have always had great relationships with parents in my 13 years of teaching. I always try to speak to parents about positive news like if their child has had a good day or to share a piece of good work etc. however, on two recent occasions I’ve heard parents talking about me on the yard in a really negative way. Both times have been after I’ve had to put consequences in for their children e.g. fighting/disrupting lessons. We’re a small village school and I see the parents out and about around the village and I feel so uncomfortable. As a parent, how would you recommend me building back up the relationships?
