Hi, my three month old has been going to the toilet more often over the past week (after every feed now so around 6-8 times a day) whereas he used to go once every other day and the stools are on the watery side. He's absolutely fine in himself and feeding fine, etc. It's just i don't know whether he has to see a doctor or not? Like do i call the GP to let them know or will it run it's course? I'm a new parent so am a bit unsure.

I remember my little one went after every single feed around the same age. Was watery too. It passed on it's own for him but give the GP a call if you are worried.

Hi,

I read your message and I'm currently going through the same thing with my little one. She can easily have 8 loose stools a day. Did the issue resolve for your lo?

Unless they're showing signs of discomfort, it could be perfectly normal, especially if you're BFing Wink

They're shit machines at that age. It goes in one end and whatever was in there from previous feed is ejected from the other end. As long as baby is happy and alert and gaining weight you don't need to worry.

I am formula feeding but the extra poos started when she was prescribed antibiotics. She's been off them a week and still has excess bowel movements which worried me. Consider6usibg probiotics to restore gut bacteria
