Hi everyone, looking for a bit of advice or solidarity. My 2 year old DS is perfectly happy on play dates in ours other peoples homes, playing at parks or soft play etc, If we let Him he’d probably play all day, developmentally all in all ways so far. BUT he has developed a maddening habit, whenever we go anywhere we will have no sooner got out of the car and he will ask to be picked up and carried, he doesn’t want to walk anywhere unless we’re at the park, soft play etc, any walk to the park etc he has to be picked up, he also cries constantly to be picked up when I make tea, is this just a phase? I see other toddlers perfectly happy to toddle around, I’m not worried at all but it frustrates me. Anyone else experienced anything similar?
