Is there a regression about 8 months ?

Baby sleeps 6pm with a feed around 2-3ish and goes back down until 5:30/6am sometimes with one or two dummy stirs - sometimes it's 4 sometimes it's none ! No pattern

The mummies in my baby group think this is 'bad' for 8 months ? All their babies ' sleep through ' I know it's taken differently but sometimes my baby does 6-3 before she needs a feed so I'm happy with 9 hours but I'm a FTM and I don't know if this so good or not ?they seem to think it's a ' tough night ' but where she didn't sleep well and does this I think it's great! I know it doesn't matter what others think

Last 3 nights she's woken for another night feed so she has woken 11pm and 3am and back down until 5:30 today - is this normal ?

She's definitely hungry as she is drinking 6-7oz

She is now on 3 meals a day and loves her food
Typical day has weetabix/porridge for breakie
Then lunch some form of protein/veg with the same for dinner with some carbs but doesn't want her milk in the day! Just at 11pm and 3am 🤣

Anything I can do or is there a sleep regression at this age ?

Absolutely normal for infants to wake up in the night... up until the age of 3!

I would honestly kill for 8 or 9 hours at that stage so I think it's brilliant!

There is a sleep regression between 8-10 months and separation anxiety peaks around this age, but your DC is doing great, ignore other people and don’t read too much into it.. it shall pass!

I thought so! I don't normally tend to compare but all the baby's are younger than mine and she's never been a great sleeper - up until 6 months when we moved her into her own room and she has cmpa so all her noises she was making before changing her milk as she was so uncomfortable bless her

Thank you, I think she is doing fab too and it's got so much easier than the newborn stage when I wasn't getting any sleep.

My good sleeper child would go to bed at 8 have a dream feed at 11, a feed at 3 and then one in the morning at 6-7.

My rubbish sleeper child woke somewhere between 5-10 times a night, often with a very prolonged wake. Something like. Bed 7.30. wakes: 8.15, 9, 11, 12, awake 2-5, up for the day at 6.30! Or more wakes without the prolonged wake.

Your child sleeps amazing. My rubbish sleeper child doesn't sleep that will now still at nearly 4.

Absolutely normal. My DD had a sleep regression at 8 months too, it was really tough. She was waking multiple times in the night and refused to go in her cot! Hang in there it will eventually improve!
