That's it. The Dses are going to bed at 6pm when Ds2's friend goes home

As usual any visit from a friend of DS2's has descended into chaos. Ds1 is bullying them, swearing and being a little toad. DS2 is winding him up and his poor friend is sitting in the middle of it all looking bewlidered. DS1 has kicked a child outside - not on the ribcage as the child is claiming, but kicked him all teh same. DS2 is being horrible and I am fed up with it. I am sick of the constant arguing and bickering and winding each other up

Won't hurt them - DS is often in bed by 6/6 30 just because he needs a lot of sleep.

Might even teach them that they need to be good and nice in order to stay up to a later hour in the holidays/not be treated like a young child...

Hope your evening is calmer

Could you arrange DS1 to go to an afterschool club or do something else next time your DS2 wants a playdate, saltire?
I think this sort of thing is partly why we so rarely have playdates...
