Lonely

I have 3 - 14/11/5 and just realised I'm quite lonely now they're all at school.

What do people do all day? I find by the time I've had a workout, shower, prepped lunches, dinner and that evenings activities it doesn't give me time do anything meaningful, go anywhere or meet up with anyone before the school run

We have zero outside support so I can't just dump my home responsibilities in the hope someone else will help but missing some human contact

What do people do all day ? But you say you have no time to do anything meaningful? Your post is confusing - sounds as if you don't work ? If you do work, you can still find time to do lots of things meaningful as plenty of other mn on here do this

I'm luckily enough that I only have to work part time I have an 11 yr old and a 8 month old so on mat leave until July

But without my job I would feel a bit bored / lonely as you have described

So could finding a job be the answer ? I know not everyone likes their job but again I love Mike so it's finding something you are passionate about but I've worked my ass off to get to where I am now which is a job I adore

If you do already work then it's just time management
Slow cooker dinners
Online food shop
Scheduled housework

Doing above means I have plenty of time to do something for myself if I want to but at the moment I don't just because I've not long had a baby, exhausted and it's only recently she has got easier so I do plan to get a bit of me time back

Sounds like you've lost your purpose...maybe before it was all about the kids ? So now it can be about you

As much as I love spending all my time with baby at the moment I know it's temp until she goes to nursery next year
I work my hours over 4 days so I still get a day off a week to do what ever I please

Sometimes that's spent on deep cleaning the house ! Sometimes a pedicure / massage
I mix it up but I haven't done this regularly since bubba

I used to do the school run before my eldest went to secondary- that's 6 whole hours and still felt this was enough and yes you are on a time limit but 6 HOURS a day! - and also after school clubs / that age staying home alone you can afford more than 6 hours if you ran over - I don't understand where you don't have the time ?!

You are also running the risk of someone reading this who has to work full time and literally has zero time and some even say having a shower/workout/meal planning they don't even have that luxury so just wanted to pre warn you 😳

Is this post a joke?
Many people work.
If you don't need to work then take up a hobby or volunteer. I'd be bored to death if I didn't work.
