Coughing most of the night

My 3 year old dd has had a cough for the past 14 weeks been doctors for it 7 times now she's just been put on blue and brown inhalers she's spent the last 2 nights up coughing and not getting much sleep would u still send her to nursery ??? Advice please

It sounds like doctors suspect asthma, which can show up as nighttime coughing. Are you worried she might be too tired or that she'll have an attack while she's there? Either way, I would definitely discuss with the nursery manager because, at the very least, they need to know the risk and have a plan for dealing with it (might be worth getting a spare inhaler as well).
I'm not a medical professional but I am a mum whose DS had asthma at a young age.

I'm worried she's tired as she's defo not getting much sleep at night from coughing so much she went to bed at 8 and is now awake from coughing for the past 25 mins I've had her home for the past 2 days as she's only getting 5 hours max of sleep at night poor kid has dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep I'm going to ring nursery tomorrow and talk to them as she does morning and has to be up at 6.30 to get ready and leave at 8 to be there for 8.30 might see if I can change her to afternoons thanks

Thanks for advice she's now cuddling up with dad in bed so I can get some sleep as ds is due a feed soon oh the joys of being a mum Smile
