6 year old stranger danger

6 year old son, I collect him from his class, every day without fail he comes to me then runs of to find anyone he knows and there parent. He will then wonder out the gate chatting away to the adult. He not once looks back to see me.

Would this annoy you? He dosnt grasp why he can't, strangers etc.

They aren't strangers though. It's his classmates?!

You are there, he is chatting to his friend's parents. That wouldn't bother me at all.

The thing is I'm still in the playground and he goes off out the gate. He's not interested in the children, he solely just talks to the parents.

He passes me his bottle and he's off.

He needs to learn not to go out of the gate before you. I can't understand why you let him do this never mind talking to adults.
