How to help poorly newborn??

My DD is almost 1 month old and over the past day or so I think she’s coming down with a bit of a cold or something, she doesn’t quite seem herself. She’s been sneezing a lot and not feeding like she usually does, she will normally drink her 4oz bottle every 3/3.5 hours, but she has been having 1 or 2oz at a time and not finishing her bottle. She also normally does one poo a day and so far she has done three massive explosive poos today since about midday which is not like her.

She hasn’t been sick and doesn’t have a temperature. I know you can’t give Calpol to babies under 2 months old so I just wondered if anyone knows is there anything I can do to help?? She isn’t miserable or anything but just isn’t quite herself and I hate to think of her being poorly.

Lots of cuddles, milk if she’ll have it and hopefully it will pass quickly

My son was like this from birth. I was told to turn the hot taps on in the bathroom. Fill the bath with hot water so the bathroom steams up. Obviously don't put her in the bath you could I wouldn't waste it. The steam helps clear they're nose. I was told if he gets worse to get him seen at the doctor's.

Just keep an eye on her temperature though they can get too hot with the steam. There was a baby that was strapped in his pram and left alone with shower running. Dad went back to bed but sadly baby diied.😢

He was BF and was struggling to feed at two months. With it being winter as well I took him to the doctor's and was given some nose drops.
