Daughters hair growing forward

Can anyone advise what to do with my 2 year old’s hair? Her hair is shoulder length with a blunt fringe but not very thick yet and grows forward from the top of her crown. She has no parting as such and has a cow’s lick at the front.

I try to get her to wear it up as much as possible to train the hair at the top to fall backwards. Is there anything else I could be doing?

Thanks in advance. I am not great with hair myself.

If you grow it longer it will fall to the sides or back

Yes it should fall to the sides naturally as it gets longer. But maybe you could try doing pigtails throughout the day and night (if she doesn't pull them out) to train the hair into a parting? And after washing, comb it in a parting to encourage it to dry that way.

Getting it to grow backwards might be trickier, especially if she has straight fine hair
