White poo?!

Hello,

I just changed my daughter's nappy and it had solid very pale yellow/white poo. I have never seen anything like it before? What could it be? Has anyone else had this experience? She is 15 months. She recently had a bit of a stomach bug with loose stools, etc. but has now recovered and her poo is very solid again. But it's white!

my DS2 got this once after a stomach bug too - dont know what caused it but he was ok

pale stools could be due to the recent stomach bug or something else like anaemia or liver problems. I've never heard of "so pale it's white" poo though.

I would get an appointment with the doctor to get it checked out, or call your HV if you are worried.
