Experience with travel devices on BA

Hi everyone,

I have booked flights to and from London to Miami. I am travelling with a two year old and the return flight is a night flight. I have a Flyaway inflatable mattress which is accepted by American Airlines (our out flight) but British Airways (our return night flight) apparently does not accept them. Has anyone got away with using one of these in a window or middle seat? I have read some reviews that said they were not questioned by BA staff with these and other travel devices.

Any experiences welcome. I now have anxiety about the night flight as I have had a bad experience before when we were not provided with a bassinet on a night flight last year.

Call BA and ask them. I hope they can accommodate you. Good luck.

Hi, did you manage to use the device?
