3rd Birthday Ideas

Our grandson turns 3 next month and his parents haven't asked for anything in particular so I'm after some inspiration.

He already has practically every dinosaur and digger imaginable 😂

What toys, books, games etc does your 3 year old love? The budget is £50 - £75.

TIA

Shopping list

Scooter, bikes, tickets for a day out to a kids theatre show, a package made up of books like the Gruffalo with a cuddly toy so they can recreate the story. Playdoh, the Duplo train set, the list goes on. Hope that helps. Smile

I'd ask them if they'd like an annual pass to something in the local area or something like a contribution toward swimming lessons or similar. If he has loads of stuff already they may appreciate something a little different.

Otherwise, you can't go wrong with Duplo, Duplo or more Duplo!

Magnetic tiles! Get a big box full they are amazing.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 15/03/2023 19:43

Mr Men books, if they read to him. Still some of the best stories for that age group, imo

Another vote for magnetic tiles, the best-loved third birthday present here. She's getting the ball run expansion pack for her fourth birthday.

Flake123 · 15/03/2023 20:08

Third votes for magnetic tiles- hands down the most used and variable toy in our house. Had them for over two years now and they are still used almost every day. We just use the cheap brand that’s on Amazon and have no complaints. Look on Pinterest for different playing ideas. But for the first 6 months my Dtwins were just happy building towers with them and knocking them down!

My daughter turned 3 in December, so across birthday & Christmas her most loved gifts are:

Melissa & Doug ice cream shop
Foam faces bath toys
Busy books - a story that comes with a play mat & figures
Kids digital camera
Membership for a local zoo

You can gift him a toy scooter, bike, monster truck, etc. I think these physical activity toys are a great gifts for him.
