DD 3yo started nursery a couple of months ago and is still finding it a bit tricky. She struggles with drop off and then the loud and busy environment. She is getting better slowly and I've noticed she's more confident however whenever she is with me I find it extremely hard to get out the house. We used to go to classes like gymnastics but now she is 3yo she has to go in by herself and refuses to do so. I used to take her to mum and toddler groups but again now she is 3yo she just seems too old for that. These things really helped me to keep her occupied during the week and now I have no idea what to do with her. I also have an 8mo so it makes taking her places tricky. She won't go into soft play by herself and even if she did she would always want to go into the 5+ areas and I don't feel confident not being able to keep an eye on her. At the park she wants me to play and its so hard with the baby with us as well. We live near a beach but my 8mo is sooo heavy and I would struggling to carry him about on the beach and look after DD. Any ideas where I can take her? All the play cafe in my area have shut down due to covid. At home I am sooo bored. I can keep her amused but I think we're both running out of things to amuse her. When we are at home we do jigsaws, stickers, drawing and painting, colouring in, washing toys, helps me cook sometimes. DS is also trying to crawl so I have to sit with him because he is at the face planting stage of being on the move. Any ideas to keep us all from going stir crazy?
