Trousers for for tall/skinny 2 yr old boy

Can anyone recommend any good trousers for a tall/skinny 2 year old boy. Or good brands to try?

I'm struggling to find some which don't fall down. And a lot of the time they look really baloony round the bum and legs because he hasn't got much of a bum.

I bought him some braces to try and help but he HATES them.

Any recommendations ?

Zara. Or if you’re really desperate girl’s leggings.

La Redoute or H&M used to be my go to when DS was younger. I think any European brands tend to be thinner and longer.

Primark jeans with adjustable waists were the best for my tall, skinny ds when he was 2. They were also the cheapest!

Try TU at Sainsbury - at least in the baby range they are a better fit for long thin babies than my uh roly poly DS

I put mine in Zara leggings almost exclusively

Another vote for primark here as they have adjustable waists. I've yet to find any that do the job as well as the jeans and chinos from there.

A word of warning it gets even harder unfortunately when they are potty trained as then there is no bulky nappy to hold them up.

Leggings, even from the girls section don't often work for 3 year old DS as they have no way of adjusting the waists so to get a pair that stay up he'd have to have 12-18 months which are inevitably too short in the leg. I'd imagine your tall skinny DS is the same.

Sainsbury's do boys/unisex ribbed leggings, like these tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Bright-Ribbed-Leggings-5-Pack-%281-7-Years%29/141642040-MultiColoured. H&M also quite slim, as previously mentioned. Some M&S joggers are relatively slim-cut as well and have a real drawstring you can tie (not so good if potty trained, though, as they can't untie it). My slim DD also wears 'jeggings' as just regular jeans.
