If babies teeth are coming through and they keep waking at night, how long can you give calpol for, I don't mean how many doses but for how many days

Advice on calpol bottle says 3 days and then speak to a Dr. I'm reality, paracetamol is a very safe drug as long as the dosage is given correctly. Nurofen is good for teeth too.

Teeth usually stop hurting once they have broken the skin.
When my DD is teething I usually give calpol before bed every night for maybe a week or so, but she is fine during the day and I only give her one dose a day.
Avoid nurofen on an empty stomach

This is what I done and used the powder through the day

If I know it's teething I just keep giving it.

If it was a virus and not getting better after 3 days I'd see a doctor.

The only thing in powder which will help
is sugar and that will only last for a few minutes.

Nurofen is better than calpol and once their past 5 months they can also have anbesol liquid.

The power of placebo on you as the parent. There is no medication in them. There is sugar, which does help with pain, they use sugar on neotal units before they take bloods.

I know it has sugar in but I was just saying it didn't last only a few minutes.
