9 mo sick and cough permanently

Over the last month my baby has been vomiting around 3-4 times a day, at its peak we had a few days of dry nappies and we were told to take to A n E who helped with rehydration but shrugged it off as a vomiting bug. For longer than that she has had a cough which is much worse at night, she has been constant for the last hour now. She's been sick again today and then off her food for the rest of the day. GPs just tell me it's a bug and A n E just focused on rehydration and sending home. I'm sure there must be something else causing this. She is my 4th child so there's 6 of us in the household and not 1 other person has been poorly. What's my next step here? Do I continue to pursue through GP?? She never had a reflux as a tiny baby but she has CMPA which we manage as I have other children with it so I know she hasn't had any milk. I also cannot link the vomit to any other allergen as it seems to be random when she is sick. TIA

I would definitely push and push to find out what's going on here. That can't be good at all, poor wee thing.

Thank you. I'm glad it's not just me that thinks this is not OK. Would you just continue to go through GP?

Yeah i guess so and if the doctor brushed me off I would ask for a different gp or try and go private if you can

This sounds like what my daughter was like with her reflux. If it's a couple of months, has it coincided with weaning? Is there any foods that might be flaring the reflux (rather than an allergern per se). I found tomatoes used to flare my daughters reflux and made her worse, by 1 she had outgrown it and could tolerate all foods except dairy (she's cmpa too). I also find teething flared her reflux too.
Hope you find some answers soon.
