If you have a 3/4/5 year old, what do they like to do on a tablet?

My son is autistic and doesn't follow any typical milestones, he seems very technical but I have no notion of what is typical at this age.

Any insights appreciated!

My DD isn’t quite 3 yet (May), but she likes to play games (colour sorting, shape sorting etc), puzzle games, dressing up characters etc. Sometimes I watch her and wonder how she knows how to do half the stuff she does on it 😂

Thank you! She sounds super!!

Mine can work the iPad completely (except he can't read)- he can get game, YouTube, Netflix etc

Needless to say he doesn't know the PIN number so can only get it when I put it on!

You could try dragon box numbers as a good educational game, it's non verbal and he could explore it himself

If you can stand it there's a Peppa Pig app that my two have loved. It has games and puzzles on and can use motor skills. They change the themes throughout the year too - I know lots of people will cringe at it though. 🤣

Nothing, he's not allowed to use an iPad or an iPhone.

He's allowed to watch cartoons on the tv, but just no Netflix or YouTube.

Thank you! He doesn't like peppa pig actually, he is very specific in what he enjoys, not just cartoons he likes animal documentaries. No clue what makes him choose one thing over another.

Though he does like the gruffalo games which are matching ones.

I'll have a look at the other suggestions!
