Can I use cotton bottoms wraps with shaped nappies?

Or are they only for prefolds? I'm wanting some more wraps (use motherease at the mo) and there are LOADS of cotton bottoms ones on ebay. Will they work over shaped nappies?

Ideally need to know what shaped nappies you are using.

There are loads on ebay (and at a good price) because tommee tippee has stopped making them and sold a lot off at very low prices. I should think they'll be on there for a while as they seemed to have a lot of stock to get rid of from what I could tell. Have noticed a fair few on there being sold for much more than they would have paid for them (of course.)

Shaped nappies - I have no 2 the same! I have a motherease onesize and sandys, a fluffle, one imse vimse, a hemp baby beehinds, various others, and I use flat terries quite a lot too. Motherease wraps (aplix and poppers) seem to work well over them all. I have so many different types because I had a £50 grant from the coucil to buy washables, and have bought other various ones one by one.

DS is not in washables all the time - only when we're at home, and only in the daytime. He's only 10 weeks, but I'm gradually moving more and more to washables (as a newborn he was 100% disposable) hence need for more wraps!

They should be fine I like them especially on newborns because they are that bit smaller than most.

They will probably be better with ones with a lower rise

sushistar · 10/02/2008 21:44

Hooray, thanks flame! Would also like some suggestions on some other wraps - I want some FUNKY ones, brighter than the motherease eco prints. I know about totsbots - what other funky wraps are good?

sushistar · 11/02/2008 12:54

one wrap, a changemat, some wipes - the day nappies bit is not working but will order some of them too when they're available, and more wraps if i like the one i get.
