Worried about school nursery

My daughter is 4 and full time in a school nursery since September. She was in a different setting last academic year. Her behaviour in her old nursery was fine. She could be stubborn and challenging but never violent. In her current setting she’s becoming increasingly aggressive towards other children eg throwing toys, grabbed a child’s neck (both behaviours she’s been on the receiving end of too).

Most of the staff are great especially the actual teacher. But my daughter has told me she dislikes one staff member. We talked about it while she was drawing and she drew very cross and sad faces. I’ve tried to ask her about this staff member but she gets very quiet, upset then angry.

I’m incredibly worried about what’s been going on especially because of the change in her behaviour.

WWYD? Try to discuss with nursery teacher or go higher up. How worried would you be? My gut feeling here is really not good.

Trust your gut feeling on this and raise it with the school. Personally I would go to whichever manager seems most appropriate/who you're most comfortable raising it with. Go with an open mind to hear their perspective but equally clear with the message you want to get across.
