Weird that my 15 month old can watch a film?

Last week my son was unwell so most of the week was spent in bed watching TV together. Normally this would not hold his interest and he would be off playing after 15 minutes but as he was not feeling good he sat and watched it.

he’s now better but today kept saying “bed” and “Totoro” (the monster in the film he likes) so Ive let him lay on the bed and watch the film - it’s nearly finished and he’s watched it happily the whole time. Is this normal?! I feel like a child of 15 months shouldn’t be ok sitting still for so long!

My grandson was the same. His film that he would watch was ratatouille and he would always laugh at the same place so was definitely following it. I was amazed at the time. He's 7 now and is an active little boy, crazy about football in particular but still loves to snuggle on the sofa with a blanket and a film.

@annonymousse that is so cute that he laughed in all the same places! Glad to hear he is still active :)

I would say that's highly unusual but wouldn't actually worry about it.
