7 year old still wets the bed sometimes

7 year old DD has been reliably dry in the day since turning 3. Although she is dry most nights, she doesn't wake up if she needs a wee as she is a heavy sleeper. As a result, she wets the bed - this varies between once a month, to once or twice a week (Dec and Jan was once each, but Feb has been twice a week). There don't seem to be any triggers and she usually sleeps through it although it does seem to happen when it is approaching morning.

I haven't requested any referrals as it hasn't seemed like a huge problem. I've had a read of the NICE guidelines but it refers to anything less than once or twice a week as 'very infrequent' and doesn't really give advice about this. An alarm wouldn't be appropriate for this frequency and I wouldn't do that to her anyway as she is scared of loud alarms.

Any tips? Is this common/unusual?

My DD was 8 when she stopped. No triggers for her either just some nights she would wet the bed. I tried lifting her etc but that didn’t always work it really just seemed to stop by itself eventually

Thanks @Mugsandplates how often was she wetting before this? Did she ever wake up asking for the toilet?

I think that the hormone that is reducing urine production is there, or starting, as she is dry the majority of nights. I just need her to wake on the occasions she does need a wee rather than sleep through it!
