I am a FTM to a 2 week
old DD. I’m not sure if this is normal or whether I should mention it to my GP/HV.
DD is bottle fed. She’s regained her birthweight and now surpassed it so no worries there.
Feeding her has never been easy however. She gets really worked up during feeding and often cries throughout and arches her back. Last night it took my DP two hours to calm her down after her bottle at 3am. We now brace ourselves for feeding her as she can get so upset. We pace feed her.
She has had a blocked nose since birth which we treat with saline drops but she’s still snuffly and prefers sleeping upright.
she’s really windy and has often cried for several hours before doing a poo. Recently these have been quite loose when she has gone.
She gets hiccups most days and her eyelids have gotten more pink recently (my mum said it looked like she was wearing eyeshadow)
She has been crying a lot, often to the point of it being blood curdling.
Could this be CMPA or is she just being a baby? She’s only ever a little sick after feeding, never projectile.
