Baby had her first vaccines yesterday- Friday. She was very unsettled and upset but eventually slept yesterday afterwards. I hated it as felt she was uncomfortable. But since the jabs I noticed she just wanted to sleep and barely touched her formula/fed even breast.
Today she is kind of the same and just wondered if vaccines can do this especially 1st set? When shod it wear off?
plenty dirty nappys and wet - as got oral vaccine for gastro something that prevents vomitting etc!

she also has to get another set done in 4 weeks does anyone know what these ones are

Hi Lanzy. When my LO had her 2 month vaccines she was a bit unsettled, definitely sleepier and less hungry. Friends of mine have had the same experience. I found that only lasted a few days but she had more frequent dirty nappies for about 2 weeks afterwards also. Again, friends noticed the same.
I'm not sure about the next set in 4 weeks, my LO is due her next batch at 4 months. I'm in Ireland so might be different where you are?

This is totally normal; she will bounce back in a few days. Just let her sleep and continue to offer milk as normal.

The next jabs aren't so bad - they didn't knock my son out quite so much

Yes of course, did they not give you a leaflet saying all the really common side effects? it's the same as for adults really, some local pain/tenderness, mild fever, bit sleepy, clingy, achy maybe. Give calpol if she needs.
