My 17 year old daughter wishes to fly to Glasgow alone to meet her friend (we are happy she is a bone fide female friend, not impersonator). Its the first time she has ever been on a plane - I am nervous about saying yes????????

Agree with many of the above.
Flying alone at 17. Not an issue.
Flying to meet someone she's only met online. Not on my watch.

I did my first flight at 16, alone, to Australia. To stay with family I had never met, but obviously my parents had.

The friend is something I would be concerned about.
